2012 Events for Everyone



We celebrated 50 years of physics in Aspen on July 7 and August 11, 2012. Many other special lectures and events were heldthroughout the summer.

June 20 Sky Stories and Ice Cream Social co-hosted with the Aspen Science Center and Spellbinders Storytellers at ACP, 700 West Gillespie, 8:00 pm. See the video preview and/or see it on video

June 30/July 1 The 2012 Aspen Ideas Festival at the Aspen Institute included physicist Brian Greene of Columbia University

ACP Founder George Stranahan's photographic collection was on display all summer in the Paepcke Gallery.

July 4 Our founders, Michael Cohen, Robert Craig and George Stranahan, were Grand Marshals and physicists marched and drove in the Aspen 4th of July Parade, 12:00 noon
