Summer 2009 Workshop Proposals

The Aspen Center for Physics program for Summer 2008 has been fixed. Proposals are currently being accepted for the Summer 2009 program. Please send an electronic proposal to:

The proposal must include:

• A list of preferred, acceptable,and impossible weeks for the workshop. Include explicitly information on
  • the availability of the principal organizers
  • potential timing conflicts with national or international meetings or other workshops
  • a preference for a time adjacent to another meeting to increase international participation
  • the proposed length (in weeks) of the workshop
  • other serious constraints
• A title and list of organizers, with phone numbers and email addresses
• A list of individuals who have committed to coming as well as other possible participants
• A description and justification
• a contact person who will be available for consultation
• A designation of one of the organizers as the person responsible for working to ensure diversity in the group of people who apply to participate in the workshop
• The proposal must be signed by all organizers. (If sent by email, explicitly state that each organizer has read and approved the submitted proposal.)

Deadline for the submission of proposals is June 30. The 2009 Summer Program will be finalized by the second week of August.
